Highschool
I attended Seaholm High School, where I faced challenges with math from an early age. Despite the struggle, I worked hard to earn all my math credits so I could take AP Studio Art during my junior and senior years. That class was the closest I had come to a college-level art experience in high school, offering a freelance structure with creative freedom. Mrs. Moyer, my teacher, played a significant role in my artistic growth, constantly supporting me and my classmates.
In my junior year, I joined the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) and decided to run for president. My friend and I tied in votes, so we chose to serve as co-presidents. Together, our team helped plan and execute murals within the high school, which was a rewarding experience.
